#&@*$@&%#$!&$

Well, it finally happened. Anytime you buy a new car you know it will. After all, it always does. It’s inevitable and nothing you can do can prevent it... it’s just a matter of time. You lay awake at night knowing that it’s out there somewhere. You agonize whether it’ll happen quickly or if it’s going to take its time. And you pray that when it does happen, it won't be something big, something major. Then finally, on a warm spring day with birds tweeting and puffy white clouds floating like cotton balls through an otherwise clear beautiful sky... it happens. Today, with absolutely no warning, it rose up from the nether regions of wherever it is that they lay in waiting and BAM... I got the first damage to my new car. And in this case, in spite of all the prayers, all the sacrifical offerings, all the care to avoid it... it's major. The windshield got cracked, not just dinged but cracked by what must have been a fairly hefty rock. No saving it with a simple ding removal. Nope, this baby is history. Time to pony up the $500 deductible on the insurance policy and have it replaced. My thoughts when it happened? See the title of this posting.
